MA APCD Data Submissions

Overview

CHIA collects health care information from private and public health care payers, including third-party administrators. This information includes:

  • Medical claims
  • Pharmacy claims
  • Dental claims
  • Member eligibility
  • Provider
  • Product
  • Benefit plan control totals

Submission Deadline

All data is collected monthly, except for the product file which is collected quarterly

Reporting Requirements

Submitters must follow the file submission guides for instructions on data file formats, data element definitions, code tables, and data quality standards.

Registration Instructions

New users must register to submit data via CHIA Submissions.

Complete User Agreement

Complete and sign the CHIA Data Reporter User Agreement (DRUA) after reviewing the DRUA instructions. Note that each individual user for an organization must complete the form.

Submit User Agreement

Submit the completed Data Reporter User Agreement to DL-Data-Submitter-HelpDesk@chiamass.gov. You will be notified when your account is ready to use.
