CHIA PUBLISHES UPDATED MASSACHUSETTS SKILLED NURSING FACILITY INTERACTIVE DASHBOARD

CHIA published the latest iteration of its interactive dashboard on skilled nursing facilities operating in Massachusetts with data through 2024. This centralized dashboard includes key measures at the industry and facility levels to increase transparency of financial performance and quality. For the first time, the dashboard now contains information on management companies, including total margin.

This dashboard includes data collected by CHIA from more than 300 skilled nursing facilities operating in Massachusetts that accept MassHealth patients.

The nursing facility dashboard was developed to assist policymakers and stakeholders with accessing and understanding performance metrics for individual skilled nursing facilities, their management companies, and the industry as a whole.

The interactive dashboard allows users to filter the data by additional characteristics, such as geographic region, tax status, management company affiliation, and CMS quality rating, enabling users to customize their experience depending on their interest. This dashboard is accompanied by a databook.
